This question is to be put to only Telangana people. But not to each and every one.
Let Telangana people decide what they want.
It is something like seeking the majority in the assembeley where non-Telangana has the majority!
ఈ రోజు రాష్ట్ర అసెంబ్లీలోనే కోస్తా, రాయల సీమకు కలిసి 175 సీట్లున్నాయి.తెలంగాణకు 119 సీట్లున్నాయి. అక్కడే ’తెలంగాణ వాదం’ నెగ్గ లేదు. అందుకే ఇన్నాళ్ళుగా తెలంగాణ ప్రజల శ్రేయస్సు కూడా పరిరక్షింపబడక, తెలంగాణేతర ప్రజలకు లాభం కూర్చేలా పాలన సాగింది. అసలు ’ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్’ రాష్ట్రం ఏర్పాటు పేరిట రెండు ప్రాంతాలను కలపడమే ఒక అసమతుల్యమైన కలయిక. అందులో న్యాయం లేదు. అటువంటిది తెలంగాణ జనాభా ఎంత? ఇతర ప్రాంతాల జనాభా ఎంత? మీరీ ఓటింగ్ పెట్టడమేంటి? అందునా విద్యా విషయకంగా ఎదిగి, ఎంతమంది తెలంగాణ ప్రజలు బ్లాగుల స్థాయికి చేరుకొన్నారు? ఇప్పుడున్న తెలుగు బ్లాగర్లు, వాటి పాఠకులలో అత్యధికం తెలంగాణేతరులని మీకు తెలియదనే అనుకోవాలా? వారు తమ స్వార్థమేగాని, న్యాయం చెబుతారని నమ్మకం ఉందా? అన్నీ తెలిసి, ఈ ఓటింగ్ పెట్టడంలో … ప్రజలను తప్పు దారి పట్టించే కుట్ర లేదా? లేదా, “నేనింత ఆలోచించ లేదు” అనుకొంటే, ఈ టపాను వెంటనే తొలగించాలి.

బ్లాగర్లలో తెలంగాణ వారి సంఖ్య తక్కువనే అభిప్రాయం సరి కాదు. విద్యావంతులు, మేధావుల సంఖ్యకు తెలంగాణలో కొదవేమీ లేదు. విదేశాల్లో చదువుకుంటున్న లేదా ఉద్యోగాలు చేస్తున్న కొత్త తరం యువకుల్లో తెలంగాణకు చెందిన వారు సమాన సంఖ్యలో, ఆ మాటకొస్తే ఎక్కువే ఉన్నారు. ఇక్కడ అసెంబ్లీ తీర్మానానికి, ప్రజాభిప్రాయానికి మధ్య చాలా తేడా ఉంటుంది. ఆంధ్ర, రాయలసీమల్లోనూ తెలంగాణను సమర్థించే కవులు, రచయితలు మెజారిటీ సంఖ్యలో ఉన్నారు (ఇక్కడ కామెంట్లలో మిత్రుడు రాజన్న “ఆంధ్రజ్యోతిలో ఈరోజు రంగనాయకమ్మ రాసిన వ్యాసం” చదివి వోటు వేయండని సూచించారు). సాధారణ ప్రజల్లోనూ ఆ అవగాహన ఉంది. ఈ పోల్ ఫలితాలు చూశాక మీకు ఆ విషయం స్పష్టం కావాలని ఆశిస్తాను. రాజకీయ వ్యూహాలకు, ప్రజల మెజారిటీకి సంబంధం ఉందనే అమాయకత్వంలో మనం లేం కదా! ఇవాళ తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమం ప్రచ్ఛన్నంగా ఇంత బలపడడానికి కారణం.. చైతన్య స్థాయిలో వచ్చిన మార్పు.
కుట్ర అనేది చాలా పెద్ద పదం. దాన్ని చాలా జాగ్రత్తగా ఉపయోగించాలి. ఇదొక చిన్న ప్రయత్నం. ఓపెన్ పోల్ లో ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా తెలుగువారి మనోభిప్రాయం తెలుసుకోవడంలో నాకు ఉపయోగపడుతుంది. చర్చలో పాల్గొన్న వారి వల్ల బ్లాగర్లకు మరిన్ని విషయాలు తెలుస్తాయి. ఎగ్జయిట్ కావడం మొదటి దశ, విశ్లేషించడం రెండో దశ, స్పందించడం మూడో దశ. మొదటి దశలోనే కీబోర్డు మీద వేళ్ళు కదిలితే తొందరపాటు అవుతుంది. అయినా, యుద్ధంలో కూడా శత్రువు అభిప్రాయాన్ని తెలుసుకోవడానికి ఇష్టపడాలి కదా.

You are hundred percent right. Seeking 100+ crore indians opinion and 10 crore Telugus opinion, as our so called leaders gimmickry goes, is ridiculous. It is like asking the country to participate in plebisite over Kashmir. It is for Kashmiris to decide their future.

తెలంగాణను ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్రంగా ఏర్పాటు చేయడం న్యాయమా, కాదా? may be not
what you could not achieve without it, can not be achieved with it (new statehood). Because, you inherit the same features of model, that you think did not work for you.
తెలంగాణను ఉద్యమం చేయడం న్యాయమా, కాదా? Absolutely Right.
Rather, I think, the right question to be asked is: Is telangana separation necessary? If it is not, what alternatives you have?
At least, with తెలంగాణను ఉద్యమం, they have succeeded in putting a spotlight and from now on, I am sure, everybody pays close attention to the telangana region. This ఉద్యమం already has delivered the goods.
I think, the real problem is lack of development on par with other regions in the state and Hyderabad is to be blamed. In fact, Hyderabad is the curse of telangana, in my view.
It sucks all the energy, resources, efforts etc… into its development like a giant vacuum, and this has led to inorganic growth in the hyd. region.
This type of development is quite natural too. See how ant colonies develop, or how blogs, orkut communities become popular. People invest further or will be interested in “already” invested (tried & tested) or popular areas/things etc…
My proposition is: stop investing in Hyd. and surroundings and expand the efforts to other parts of the state. I do not view IITs or other institutions necessarily as development, but IIT should have been in basara (adilabad) but it was located at Hyd now. This is an example of the “ant colony model”.
